A View of a Town

In this painting there is a lot of people going in different directions.  There are women and men and children and one dog that looks like a stray.  It looks like autumn because of the way they are dressed and it looks very dull.  You can see houses and factories and churches.  They all walk with a slouch, which is showing bad health.  L.S Lowry used a lot of dark colours like black, blue and grey.

My opinion of this painting is that it is depressing.  By looking at this town it shows a lot of poverty.  You can tell by looking at the people, the way they walk and how they are dressed.  I like this painting because it shows you how they dressed and what their town used to look like.  In this particular painting L.S Lowry used a lot of dark colours.
