is hard for someone to go out and start a new life alone after living in
such a controlled, abusive lifestyle for any length of time.
When you have been in a Refuge for a while and feel able to go out and start a new life of your own, there is an outreach service that offers practical help and advice to women and children who are experiencing Domestic Violence and those who are rehoused after experiencing Domestic Violence. Their aim is to support each resident in making decisions on taking control of their lives and to help if and when possible with any problems. |
