Love is strange |
|
|
This
is your world. The things
that surround you are your family, friends and your home.
All these things you have taken and wrapped within a wall for
security and peace of mind. Is
your world worth all the things that you are missing out on in the world
beyond your wall? I
have spent three years stood patiently chipping at your wall and at
times I’ve even tried to scale it but to no avail.
Today I find that I am tired and whilst lacking in energy I sit
with my back resting on your wall and quietly I make a daisy chain. Life
would be simple if, when we were in love we turned a different colour.
I would be sitting shining bright and as striped as the rainbow.
I can’t see over the top of your wall to see what colour you
are, its a shame. You have
said that you have feelings, but for all the days I have stood on the
outside of your wall nothing has ever been thrown or even pushed over
for me to be aware of them. As
for now I will sit making my daisy chain.
But please understand as I look around the daisies are running
out and soon I will no longer be sitting on the other side of your wall.
