The College Library subscribes to a large number of electronic journals and magazines through a service called 'Infotrac'. If you have never used 'Infotrac' and need help here is a short user guide.

Mintel is a global supplier of consumer, media and market research. Mintel can help you discover opportunities, monitor competitors, develop products and services, and hone your marketing and advertising efforts.

Emerald

Over 100 management research journals archived back to 1989 and having some 33,000 searchable articles. Search by keyword, article title, company name or author name. Some articles available as full text others only as abstracts.

European Sources Online

Know Europe provides information about the institutions, structures, countries, regions, peoples, policies and processes of the European Union and the wider Europe.

Myilibrary is a growing collection of electronic books or ebooks. The full texts of these books are available electronically and the collection is expanding all the time. How to use the Internet
The Intute Virtual Training Suite provides free Internet tutorials to help you learn how to get the best from the Web for your education and research. The tutorials are written and updated by a team of subject specialists based in universities and colleges across the UK. Click the list of tutorials and then chose the one that interests you, or have a look at the Internet Detective which will also help you to evaluate the reliability and usefulness of web pages.

Athens
Some of the Learning centre's electronic resources will require you to log in using the Athens validation service. (Especially if you use them outside College.) You will need an Athens username and password to do this. Obtain an "Athens Student Logon Request Form" from your Learning Centre; complete and return the form. You will receive notification of your account through your TMC student e mail.
